Second Molt?

One of my RIRs has been loosing some feathers. Is it possible that she is going through a second/late molt? Or could this be an illness?

Do you have a rooster? I find my boys can cause the girls to lose feathers from too much love

No roo, just 5 hens

Like you said she could be going through a second molt or the others are bulling her (some of my standards found fun in pecking/pulling at my silkies' feathers during the winter when they finished their hard rolls and lettuce)

Is the pecking more of a winter boredom thing or does it continue year round?

For my free ranging chickens its more winter boredom (the winter up north in the us has been really tough)
