When i got my ducklins mailed from estes farm missouri they showed up exhausted and dehydrated. i gave them water with sugar in it and it might have saved their life

There are great poultry electrolytes out there tho you should be giving them, are they using the heat plate?

They got it all in their water. Yes heat plate/brooder plate. Plenty warm..

OMG! that does not look good at all! Poor little ducks. I wonder why it's the ducks that look so bad and not the chicks? IDK!

is it just me or do some have crests? Can you post a picture of the heat setup?

Its plenty big, most stay under the heat plate, a few towards the heat lamp end. Feed and water end is 75. Its hotter under the heat plate than the heat lamp by all means.

Some have crest, I hate that. These are mallards. Should not have that bad gene for the skull to have a crest. Its very unethical and not breeding for the better of the breed. Wild mallards do not have crest..
