Greetings,
I've been visiting this site for the last 2 months, reading everything I can. We have 12 5 week old hens - 6 Brown Leghorns, 5 White Leghorns and 1 California White. I decorate Ukrainian eggs as a hobby, so we wanted large white eggs.
We had chickens when we lived in Tampa, Florida and did not have a coop - just a lean-to with nesting boxes and perches, dirt floor, chicken wire surrounding it and a run. That was 10 years ago.
Now we're in southwest Missouri and are starting again.
I look forward to learning more and sharing about our growing chickens.
