Second time incubating. How’s it looking?

Oof. I know the other one is dead because it’s just straight black. I can’t seem to get this incubating thing right. How do all my broody hens get it right every time??
I know right!!! Like, how come we have to have it at 99.5 degrees and like 40% humidity and then like 65% humidity and 98.5 degrees for lockdown and all the hens have to do is sit down. 😡

We’ve named it Pickle. However, it responds most when I say baby. I’m going to go to TSC and get him a friend since the other egg failed and my broody girls clutch hasn’t hatched yet.
