Secreting blood while roosting

Hello everyone and happy New Year.
Today I noticed a fair amount ( aprox 2 tablespoons ) of blood below the roost ( not part of feces). No one is wounded and all are active and alert.
Any input on this and what if anything should be done?

Are your birds new layers? I had some concerns when I found a fair amount of blood on my roosts. I had tests done on the droppings and there were no parasites. Attributed to laying, hopefully the same for you. It did not last long in the few birds it was happening to.
