These are my babies I ordered from Ideal. Well the two BO's and the two RIR's anyway. I had to get the two EE's from the feed store. I was curious though, my two supposed(spelling ?) RIR dont look the same. Is that normal? Rose is an RIR, but the chick in the second picture, is she also a RIR? Also I think one of my BO's has a broken wing, Im not sure though.. You can sorta see it on the last BO picture.

The babies making a HUGE mess! There scratching up their grit. The dirt in the top right has worms for their liking.

very cute. Yes, they're both rir's. My rir's I have hatched come in a plain color, or with a stripe. It all depends.

Thanks LinckHillPoultry, I was really starting to worry! The more people posted of their RIR, the more I worried! B/c they were all a solid plain red, no stripe.

I dunno that looks like my new hampsire red...which is a cross between a RIR and a Star here is her pic at 2 days old:

this was today at 11 days old:

She has the same markings on her head and back...also wing pattern look the same.

Just my opinion.

They both look like RIR to me. They can look a little different when they are little. Soon you'll have a hard time telling them apart.
