see what was in my huge egg!!

I got one almost that big. I'll have to post a pic. I can barley close the carton. Mine is an Isa Brown. I was waiting to catch the little honey that layed that so I could kiss her. I haven't cracked into mine yet. I have a son just drooling over it though.

Has yours layed any more like that?? I am a newbie so I didn't know if I should count on getting one that size everyday or if it is a fluke.

the 4 hens have been 4 eggs a day since the big egg. no breaks in laying either. i had a couple of double yolks but the big egg was impressive. wonder if it is the cat food i give a couple of times a week? i soak it in water till the crunchies are plump then they gobble it down

One of my girls, a brown leghorn, gave us a triple yolked egg a couple of months ago. the other white egg in the photo is one of her normal large eggs. The brown egg is a jumbo brown from one of our RIR hens for comparison. There was no shutting the carton!
