seeds from trees

I have an ash tree that sheds hundreds of tiny seeds to my backyard floor each year, And i have four week old chicks who i'm slowly introducing to the outside. Is it ok if they eat some of those seeds while their foraging? or is it bad for them to eat tree seeds?

I really don't know. But if I were in your place, I'd let nature decide. The only other choice is to try to remove all the seeds.
