Seeking Female Turkey

Thank you for the info. I called Big r in McHenry and they were selling broad breasted bronze meat birds. I don’t want those. I called the old man back and told him it would be better if he butchered them at the appropriate age because they will be in pain if you let them live because they are so top heavy. What kind of turkeys do you breed? I would be interested in yours.
I was only half joking on your FB post about swapping bbb for mine... if he doesn't want to process them you could take a few big ones and we could swap. I feed organic but I give a couple to my cousin and she doesn't care what they eat

Good morning. I am supposedly acquiring a male pet Turkey, (Bronze) in July from a woman who cannot house him because she is losing her home. I will be housing him in a large horse stall with access to a enclosed paddock next to my chickens. I want to get him a female turkey friend. However, all of the hatcheries only sell straight run. Does anyone know anybody in northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin? Thank you!
I do! I have three pet turkeys that are hens they are imprinted and extremely friendly and I’m looking to rehome them I’m in southern Wisconsin. They were actually featured in a feel-good story at thanksgiving last year and recently offered to be in a movie with a turkey hunting scene. We simply don’t have the room left because we went a different route with our poultry. I hate to see them go. They will have a no butcher contract. They are free to the right home. Hatched on 6/6/18

I would love to have them as long as they are standard bronze not broad breasted. We have pet chickens on our farm and we would love to have your girls!

It is really a bad idea to post your phone number or email in an open public forum. You are far better off to keep such personal information private and use the Conversations (formerly known as PMs) to convey such information to another member.,
Sorry I was trying to figure out how to do that.having difficulty figuring out how to privately message her or him.
