Seeking opinions

Update: I ordered 15 chicks and ended up with 18. Tomorrow they will be 6 weeks old. Near as I can tell I did end up with 2 roosters. One of them is an EE and the other is (I think) a Barred Rock. I ended up with mostly EEs, 5 Barred Rocks, 2 Brown Leghorns and 1 Buff Orpington. They all survived the trip and are growing like weeds. Very happy with them so far. One of my little roos tried to crow the other day. Very cute then but will have to buy a rooster collar or two when they move out of the shed and into the coop/run.

Enjoy them...but be aware. Rooster chicks are darling, and brave. Cockerels somewhere between 14 -18 weeks can be nightmares.

This is your first flock, I know you probably are positive that you have this, but really consider giving the roosters away. The no crow collars, the behavior toward the pullets, and toward people are all things that take experience.
