My mom is 5'4". I was taller than her when I was 8. I grew early. My DS is 6'5" and the doc said my DD will probably be 6'3". You know how they measure them when they are so old and multiply it by 2? Yep, her's said she will be 6'3. She's already on her way. She is level with my shoulder and she's only 8. She has horrible growing pains.

I just have my daughter get down the cereal boxes I can't reach. I have learned to jump high to get stuff out of cupboards.

ah...that brings back memories.... "Hey Giant Killer!! Will you get the baking soda off the top shelf for me??" or when we were in the grocery store.."Grab that off the shelf for me will ya?"

Even now if I see an elderly person needing to get something off the top shelf and can't reach it, I will go over and get it for them.


Just wait til she gets so tall she looks at you and says...so how does it feel having a (insert age here) year old that is taller than you? My DS did that to me before he got married.
