I was down feeding my ladies (or so I thought ladies) this morning and got a surprise.

I had one hen mounting the other and going at it hot and heavy.It just floored me.I didn't realize they acted like that.

it's just her way of saying "I'm more important that you" Not all mounting behavior is sexual.

I have a few lesbian chickens. I got the girls a roo but that didn't help. My roo is gentle while mating maybe I should say He's a pro he has 26 girlfriends & never pulls any feathers out. But the lesbians tear each other up. Goofy chickens whatever they lay eggs so I just roll on.
