Seizure? Now thinking ear infection

I diluted some antibiotics into his water. I'm using a bag of tetracycline that we had from last year (I mixed the normal chicken dosage into a gallon of water, then diluted it even more for him, which is what I did last time as a precaution). He's drinking a lot, so it's getting into him. Hopefully, we'll be able to pick up some baby vitamins today.

After reading a little on the internet and searching around, it looks a lot like he has an ear infection. I am giving him tetracycline, but I read that somebody else with the same problem used baytril on their chicken. Is one any better than the other? Is one better for certain kinds of infections. I think tetracycline is a pretty broad antibiotic; I'm just not sure if it's the best antibiotic to use.

Thanks!

From my experience and research tetracycline is weak antibiotic. Oxytetracycline is stronger and it seems that Tylan 50 inject(available at feedstores) is as close to Baytril( you have to go the vet) as you can get.
