My young rooster had a seizure this morning after the light was turned on rested some and then was perfectly fine has ocassionally been having seizures then being fine could he have neurological issues or epilepsy?

Sorry about your rooster. How old is he? Does he have any other symptoms? How often is he seizing? Chickens can suffer from seizures, just like any animal, but it could also be from something neurological. I am not a vet, and cannot answer why this is happening. A vet might be helpful. Vitamin E sometimes can help with some neurological problems.

He is 1-2 years old and its just every once in a while, I can try vitamin E I plan on vetting him when I can get an appointment

Some people are trying CBD oil on dogs with seizures, and most vets use phenobarbital for seizures in dogs. If the seizures are not often, I would probably not treat with anything except for a short term use of vitamin E. Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin that can be overdosed in large quantities. Many people use a 400 IU soft gel once a day for a few weeks to treat other neurological problems, including wry neck.
