To
ask questions about these, please pm on the board or my e mail here as I've not tested the "contact us" feature of our web page

The shipping will be computed based on your zip code and whether you want insurance or express mailing instead of our regular priority shipping so that's why shipping shows $.01. We ship eggs in the same way we would like to receive them. We bubble wrap each egg separately, putting in a regular box (not an egg carton) which is then cushioned and set in a larger box. These are not the prepaid priority boxes but we use the large boxes that can be ordered through USPS as the standard mailing box. Our mailing costs can often be higher than the prepaid boxes but we find that they arrive in better shape, so it's well worth the extra time, packing materials and shipping costs. Occasionally with a large order, we will use an even larger outside box. Even as carefully as we ship, we cannot guarantee that there will be no breakage in transit. We do not guarantee the percentage of your hatch as the incubators temperature and humidity are very variable. We will provide assistance to you during the hatch and help in every way possible to have the best hatch possible.

Hi Bargain! Your beautiful Black Copper Marans eggs are incubating away now. Lovely eggs. I have not tried to candle them yet, but I am going to guess that, sadly, I won't be able to. They are too dark. I'll bet they will hatch for me, though.

Can you give another pic of your RIR's? That one is small and hard to see.

Catherine

Hi Catherine, I'm sorry my Marans are too dark to candle:) . We've been very pleased with their egg coloring.

Yes here's another photo of the RIR's. They have a lovely mahogany color and I'm sorry but I don't think these shots did them justice. I'm still trying to learn my diggie camera, it's an inexpensive one but Hubby's better one just bit the dust.

Good to hear from you and hatching prayers and thoughts go with you on those lovely Black Copper Marans and now the photos:

Their egg size is very nice and they're just a lovely flock

Thanks and have a blessed day.

I have welsummers from Nancy. Her packing is awesome and I'm very pleased with my birds. Here's my new and improved egg basket with one of my wellie girls eggs:

By the way, those are "learner" eggs, and she's still learning how to "paint her eggs" those dots may or may not blend together as continues her art work. and you might have an egg the color of the darkest dot or thereabout. I've had it happen here. I just love a pretty egg grouping like that don't you.

Did you know that if you pick up a welsummer egg that's just laid, the color literally rubs of on your fingers so wait until dry!

So glad you're getting your wellie eggs now!!!!!

I'm already pleased with the color and she just started laying. As dark as the speckles? Wow, never would have thought that was possible.

And yes, I love the colorful egg basket. Next up are blue eggs as soon as my pure Ameraucana's are old enough to start laying.

And my wellie rooster from you is such a nice boy and a great protector of his hens. I need to get current photos of him.
