Self Blue/lavender silkie chick

Hi all,

Very new to silkies... I hatched this beautiful silkie. I'm told it's a self blue or lavender color.

Its starting to get darker. Is this normal for a self blue? Or is it something else?

These are from yesterday...two days shy of a month old.

Looks like a dark splash to me. Definately not lavender cause it's too dark and self blue is the samething as lavender. Definately blue or dark splash.

A Lavender Silkie would be this color at that age

That makes sense...when I started seeing the dark spots show up, I was wondering if it could possibly be splash.
