Selling All My Peafowl... PRICE????

im in washington state and you can get blues for 50 to 100 dollars a pair i think the price is a little steep but im not a breeder just a private owner have you thought of an aviary at all at least you could keep them safe? good luck:)

I think that is a reasonable price and I would *never ever* sell off all the hens without the male. At the very least I would hold back one hen of my choice (the nicest one) to sell as a pair with the male. In our neck of the woods we frequently encounter folks looking for hens only and rarely hear from folks who want only a male. That is of any age - even people inquiring about chicks want hen chicks.
We sell birds on a monthly basis at one of the largest (if not the largest) flea market in the US and for IB males we would get 125 and IB hens 100.
My two cents.

You post says your selling your Peafowl, If I am reading this right, you live in Washington. Where about in Washington?
I am interested, Are you will sell half the flock for half the price? I am interested in a pair. I live in Western Washington.

Did you notice that the date of this is nearly 4 years ago? I suspect they are not available any longer.

Hello vb,
You've probably already tried this, but keeping an eye on your local craigslist sometimes seems to get results.
Also, if you start a new thread here (i.e. "Looking for Peas in WA!"), some peapeople near you might turn up...
Good luck!
