Not sure if this is where this topic belongs, but it is a meat bird commerce related subject.

Not having a lot of bites on my turkey poults. I've sold 8, still have 14, and have another 16 hatching Sunday. I'll spice up the ad's I'm running to see if that helps at all, but I'm thinking of taking some of my poults to the auction. I'll keep the oddballs and sell the Narragansetts.

Has anyone ever gone to this auction, and what prices have you seen poults going for?

Thanks!

I wish you were closer to me. I had a hard time getting poults this year.

What auction are you taking them to? And if its woodland I didn't know they still had it.

If you want to hang onto them for another month, you could bring them down to the Redmond Oregon Poultry Swap.

Go the the "meet-ups" forum and let people know you are bringing them. June 18

That is a bit far to sell a few poults. Gas money, food, motel. Not sure I'd even break even.

As it was, I paid for gas and lunch. Not much more than that. Came back to an email asking for all of them for full price. Bummer.

How far are you from Tenino? I will be there tomorrow. What kind of turkeys?
