pascopol...if you eat your ducks, I don't care...it is your right to do so...I don't eat mine...it is my right not to...I don't have to sell any of them...so don't get an attitude with me...I said I thougt about thinning them out a bit, not that I had to, and I prefer the ones I have are not dinner...that is the way I feel about it and it is my right to feel that way...you are attempting to lecture the wrong person...don't...

I never advertise that I have pekins for sale- so I am not lying to them. These are people who ring with enquiries to what I may have hatched or will have coming up over the next few weeks - NOT because they saw an advert for them. I only hatch the pekins to order for those who are wanting them as pets.

i feel the same way!! i would keep 1000000000 pekin duck before i would let them go to a bad home.....or a home that would eat them.

I would love a couple Pekin drakes. I want a couple friends for the 2 Rouen drakes I have. I want a little bachelor flock, I have no desire for eggs or chicks. My chickens give me more eggs than I can eat, and I don't have the time to devote to babies. I have been looking for Pekins in my local area, but have had no success. I can by chicks from a number of hatcheries, but I really want adults. They will be easier to acclimate and introduce to my existing flock. So if your still looking for a good home for a couple of your boys, PM me. I would have to pay to have them shipped to me, so you would need to consider the stress that could pose to them. Just thought I would throw that out there. I'm sure you can find good homes...
