I have hatched my quails in all in 12/29 and it seems like 6 out of 7 of them is male. Because of that, I am trying to sell them away now. All of my quails are somewhat hand tamed(they can eat out of my hand and few allows me to pet them).
In order of picture, number 1 doesn't have name yet and he is scared of everything. He is very quiet and he can hang out with other males(they don't peck at each other). He have beautiful dark brown back with white stripes and has white belly(his feather is dark grey on the inside of the white feather in the belly).
Number 2 his name is Marinate as I hopped he was girl and I could marinate his eggs. He has black, white fur spots with brown base. He acts fine with my hand and he can hang out with other males(he doesn't get pecked and he doesn't peck).
Number 3, his name is Buyo like my username and he let's me pet him! He is aggressive against other quails(he packed number 5 and injured him) but he is fine with number 1 and number 2. He is white with some black spots on his forehead and some in back.
Number 4, his doesn't have name yet. He had black, brown, and white feather all mixed on the back and he has white belly. He is bit scared of my hand but not that much. He is bit aggressive(he bleed number 6) around the female.
Number 5, Yasha he is the most whitest one on the group and he is injured right now(he lost his hair around his neck and have wound in neck too, but he is eating and drinking fine). He is okay with my hand and he has some black spots on his back.
Number 6, he doesn't have name yet. He is injured in his chest right now(not that severe then number 5 but wound was bleeding). He has luscious dark gray feather with white stripes on the back and his belly is white(similar to number 1 but in more bluish tone).
I really love my quails but I think it is better for them to live with someone else with more females. I live in Texas if you are interested!
