Is there anyone here that sells their quail meat and eggs to restaurants in ny. If so does the quail have to be processed at a NY state approved processors or can I process them myself? know if I have a Class A license I can sell the meat and eggs. I know that in NY you can process and sell the chicken you raise, as long as it 1,000 or less birds per year. Does the same hold true for quail.

Sounds Like You Need To Ask Your State Agencies These Questions... As They Would Be The Ones Issueing Your Citations Or Taking You Into Custody For Any Infractions...

"strait From The Horse's Mouth" Is Always The Best Answer For Any Questions Like This... A Little Misinformation Can Cause Alot Of Grief For Someone With These Types Of Things... I'd Say Check With Your States Dept Of Ag Or Dnr/ Fish N Game Commision Or Both.
