I just got to brag!
Put a small ad in the Baton Rouge, La. Morning Advocte paper---
I was trying to sell and had been trying to sell, the BSL hens, BSL roosters and 10 RIR cockerals.
The first day the ad ran was Thursday, all of the hens were sold with the first call. All the BSL cockerals and 4 RIR cockerals went Friday. Saturday the rest went.
Had to wait until Monday to cancil the ad, still getting calls today.
Total cost of the ad was $9.
I swear I think I could have sold 50 chickens. 1 guy bought 6 BSL cockerals and 4 RIR cockerals, he had suffered a predator attack and lost 2 of his flock roosters, the rest are going in the freezer.
I had one guy drive over 50 miles to pick up 1 RIR cockerals for his flock.
