No need to apologize just thought it a curious suggestion! I know they used to eat peacocks to show how powerful and wealthy they are, but not the case here.

People got pretty elaborate with their banquets, didn't they?

If I had the opportunity, I'd love to have a nice aviary of ornamental pheasants. Though yes, I wouldn't eat any unless I had to.
