is it leagall to sell butcherd chickens because i sell eggs at my house and i was wondering on my eggs for sale sing if I could put chickens to

Think it depends on state & local law. Here it has to be butchered in USDA place to be sold through the food coop. However if you are willing to go to to someone's house & purchased butchered chickens it is perfectly ok. Some people sell by bird others sell by weight. If all the birds weigh close to the same I would sell flat rate by the bird just to keep it easy.
