Semi aggressive? Head hen at 6 weeks

How sure are you that she is a pullet? Generally speaking, very forward behavior is almost always a cockerel.

Personally - I am not a real big believer that an occasional human interaction is significant influence on behavior. I would not want this bird to be a pet, I would want this bird to move away from me and some stomping of my feet would be done.

If you want to keep her, stop trying to make a pet or friend out of her.

I am 100% sure she is a pullet. She was sexed at birth based on coloring. I got her from a reputable breeder in our area.
My chickens are my pets. I don’t particularly try to make a “friend” out of her but my other chicks are very friendly and I enjoy spending time with them 🐓😊

It is not from above. It is from the side. I sit down beside the coop and open the side door.
Really good to hear. So many people go overhead and then wonder why they are scared. She's so cute, CCL's are my favorite breed. I've used the "finger peck," and it works better with a young one like her than it does with say an old RIR (had a fail there.) She's going to be worth the work when you get those beautiful blue eggs..... Hang in there!

She hasn’t bit me today…at least not yet lol she will peck at the fence where I’m sitting 😅 she was such a sweet little baby. Would let me hold her and fall asleep in my hand but apparently she had a change of heart 🤣🐓

Just a baby. Give her time. She also could be a slow blooming rooster. Most of my pecking poults outgrow it. I call it a "phase" lol

I often flick the beak back if quick enough and if they puff up. I grab and hold them caringly. Then put back down after they finish squirming. Another thing is if they are not flighty, I gently put my hand over them and push the bird down like a mother hen or rooster. They submit. Others I just ignored and they left me be. Depends on the situation and how many birds there are. Some breeds tend to be more moody than others too. I've not raised your breed before, so I don't know on that account.

:hugs
