About to move brood no. 3 out into the coop. as I was looking at them this morning I was thinking to myself they don't have enough feathers yet. But then the hubby was like they definitely have feathers. They will be in their brooder in the big coop for a while before setting them loose.

So here's what they're looking like as of this morning. They are six weeks old.

Okay, good to know. I was a bit skittish about it. He's hanging out with his grands when he returns we'll transfer the babies.

Next Wed the last set of chickens is scheduled to arrive from Meyer. Eight more to join my Bubble Bunch.

I move mine out at 3 weeks, they are plenty big enough. If you watch a broody hen, she lets them run around a lot. And she tends to wean them at 3-4 weeks.
