Hey all, just looking for suggestions on how to build a run for 8 chickens that I can move to a new house in a few months. My wife couldn't say no to the little chirps coming from the bins at tractor supply and now i have to set everything up with the full intention of breaking it down and moving it when we buy a house in a few months.
I was considering a run 5 to 6 feet high, maybe 4 foot sections that i could hinge together so i could change the geometry and separate the walls for stacking come time to move. My biggest concern is stability and weight, too light and anything could knock down a wall, too sturdy and i might not be able to move the walls once they're in place for a few rains. All suggestions are appreciated.
