Very sorry about the loss of your former chickens.
Hopefully, this new setup will work for you. One thing that most use is 1/2" hardware cloth for runs and to cover windows. That'll keep out everything but bear, and if you have those, you'd need to go with electric fencing.

If you need further help fortifying your coop or run, we have a couple of forums you could visit or ask in about it.

This one, Coop & Run Design, Construction, and Maintenance, has folks that will help you if you post pictures and need help with what to do.

We've also got one for Predators and Pests. You can scroll through looking for raccoon issues there, or just post if you have questions on how to deal with them or varmints in general.
