Hello. Roberta here. Was raised in boonies of AK and we had chickens. But been away from farm yard type animals/birds for several decades now. Got new place where I can have animals/birds and went out got me some chicks.
I bought 6 Buff Orpingtons and supposedly 3 barred rock from local farm store. That's going to be my first question on here lol. I also bought a couple young pullets from a family member of daughter in làw. They thought they were both EE's.
I've had either dogs/cats/mice/rats/snakes and birds all my adult life (3 son's
). I've been googling as chicks grow and I'm stumped on a couple things.
Found this group doing Google search of pics of my chicks. Seems everyone very helpful here and so far not seen any of the negativity like in other forums.
