Sent the kids home happy

My two daughters just left after spending 3 days with us for Thanksgiving--guess we ran out of food I sent them home with 39 dozen eggs between them. They left us with 7 eggs but the girls were still working when I collected just before they left. Hope they use them up by Christmas when they come back. Actually my older daughter had orders for 10 dozen--she took 22--so it will pay for gas since she comes farthest.

That's a lot of eggs! I give mine away to my co-workers and a few needy families, and they love them.

Our bird just really got going the middle of last month and this is the first I've seen the kids for a while so have been saving them up.

That is so wonderful!
Makes my 6 hens' 3 1/2 dozen we used over the holiday look like a drop in the bucket!
