Separate?

I have chicks ready to go to the coop. But we’re getting a snow storm this weekend so I’m going to transition them to the garage instead for a couple days.

I have a couple that are only 5 weeks and some that have bald spots from still growing feathers. Should I separate them from the ones in the garage?

the cage in the garage will have heat lamps on them and I’m going to ease it away over the next couple days. But they gotta go outside. So much poop everywhere in my house.
Thoughts?

I'd keep them together. I've had chicks outside and off heat that still had quite a few downy patches and haven't had any issue with that, so as long as they're eased off heat and then have draft free spots to shelter in their coop/run, they should be fine.
