I just ordered a Hovabator and can't wait to use it. However, I need to figure out a way to keep the eggs from being disturbed when chicks are hatching. I have only hatched out once with another incubator and the eggs were being rolled all around as the chicks were hatching out and moving about. Anyone have any suggestions? There will be about 30 eggs in the incubator during hatching.

I know some people hatch them in an egg carton. I tried it and got poor hatches, but it could have been my crappy little giant incubator. I am also wondering if this works for folks and if there are any other ideas. I also have my first batch in a new hovabator and am worried about them playing soccer with the other eggs.

I don't find them playing bowling with their siblings hurts them in any way. Always had very high hatches here, and they definitely knock them around :)
