Does anyone out there in pheasant land know of a good method of determining Red males from Yellow males. I have a pen of about 15 mixed males that are May 2011. They are starting to color out a little but I'd like to know for sure which is which before I place them with their hens. Thanks

Quote:They are very different. Young Red goldens are brown base colored like an adult red golden hen. Young Yellow Goldens are colored like adult yellow hens with the males usually even lighter colored. I will look for some photos.

Found some photos- added to the golden thread.
