Not me

I had to have my companion put to sleep today. Today was the worst day of my life and i've had some pretty bad ones but none top this. I knew it was coming because she was getting old. I thought I was prepared to do what I had to do if she was suffering but I wasn't. I almost just brought her home. That would have been cruel as much pain as she was in. Plus she was also starving. She deserves the best, I just can't afford it. So I did my best and had her pain taken away. I was with her every second of it. She didn't deserve to die with strangers while I cower in my self pity. I love her very much and will miss her but I will never forget her. There is a hole in my heat now where she was at that no animal could ever fill. My house is quiet except for the chirping of chicks. Although Sissy was quiet I will miss her snoring when she slept. I'll miss her begging for our supper. I'll miss her following me into every room and everywhere I went. I'll miss her watching over me and out animals while I tended to them. I don't know how i'm gona catch that silkie roo now if he takes off because she would grab him by his tail and hang on till I could get there to pick him up. I'll miss her comforting me on my bad days. I'll miss her love she gave freely everyday for 14 years.
