Does anyone have any experience with Septic Arthritis in Pekin ducks?.. We have a 10 month old male who was limping with a swollen leg. We took him to a Vet and she gave us antibiotics after she diagnosed him with septic arthritis. It has been 2 months since and no change. We keep him in a confined area and give him water therapy in the pond. The Vet seems to think that if there is no improvement after the course of antibiotics, he won’t ever heal . Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
