Serama! breeding Question on coloring ***PICS***

Great advice!
Serama breeding is about quality not cash.
There are only so many birds in the US. You want to try to improve the breed, and cull and not sell the junk.

Over all Serama can produce any of over 2500 documented color varieties, with single pairs possibly producing offspring much different from themselves in color and pattern. Breeding a black bird to a black bird does not mean one will get black offspring."

This is what I've discovered on my quest for breeding seramas.

Hi , I’m new to seramas, but picked up a trio today. All the birds have mottling. What are the odds of the chicks being mottled ? 50% of them mottled? Less? More ? Or is there no way of knowing for sure ? I’ll attach pictures of my new trio
