Serama chickens

I was wondering if someone can explain to me why Serama hatching egg is going for $30 and up per egg?

Where do you live??? I know where you would be able to get live chicks for less than that.
The problem with Seramas ,,,, is; The peeps that have them,, cant fing enough buyers. (at least close by). The peeps that want them only find distant sources.

I'm in northern California, I've checked my local area but they don't do or have hatching eggs. But I will eventually get some.
