I hear they are hard to raise? Don't you just raise them like normal chicks?

They don't tend to hatch well; maybe that's what you've been hearing. Other than that, you just need to make common- sense accomodations for their size. Maybe a little more attention to their warmth in winter, depending on where you live.

I have had a lot better luck using hens to hatch them, rather than incubating.
