Serama coloring question(s)

2 questions…
1. WHAT the HECK is this dudes color? Lol. I was saying like a mauve cuckoo but idk if that’s correct.

And 2. if I breed a solid white silkied roo, and a solid white smooth hen what are the chances of getting silkied whites? I know Seramas are like a box of chocolates, but I’m hearing different things.

I could be wrong but i think half the chicks would be silkied the others smooth id love a white silkied i use to have a grey silkied but a coon ate him was gonna use him to make silkied wyandottes

Looks like a cuckoo frizzle. Don't know what else to call the coloring

Unless your smooth feathered hen is recessive for the silkied gene, all the chicks will have smooth feathers and carry the gene for the silkied feathers. If you breed the chicks back to a silkied feathered bird or to each other, then you have a 50-50 chance of getting silkied feathers.

I think so too! He’s getting whiter in the white spots now, he’s so pretty every time I see him I think holy crap, why’s he slumming it with me lol
