fun facts:Six Seramas lived in a 1o gallon aquarium for 6 weeks. Thats how small they are!

They sure make a mess don't they? I cleaned that 3 times a day too.

This is our Serama cockerel Curly.
He is 9 months old.
When the pic was taken, he was in the house recovering from a bit of a sneeze so he was not carrying his tail feathers very proudly. Curly is very gentle.

This is Naughty Snow White, 9 months old. one of Curly's girlfriends.

This is their last batch of chicks. Now almost a month old. We have another pullet the same age named Sparkle. Here she is sharing a nest box with Naughty Snow White

They both went broody at the same time and have been good layers all winter long!

This one was the only chick to hatch out of 7 eggs, i think i'll call it lucky. Approximately 3 days old

This is Faith, she is quite the spazz and hates to be handled

Whitey, also a spazz but he is starting to calm down, he is about 13 months old

Smudge, she is about 4 months old and is like a fly that wont stay off of you, she loves to cuddle before bed every night

Of course, my favorite cockerel peanut also about 4 months old

Fun Fact: He is so funny! He thinks he's THE MAN of the coop and yet he is the littlest of the Ramas! He is practicly perfect in the standard!

Age: 2?
Color: Golden Birchen with Mottling
Fun Fact: He likes all the hens of every shape and size ( including Mabel, the Jersey Giant hen) and notice the short legs, short back, almost vertical wings, chesty look, and upright tail! That is the standard for a serama ( along with size )

Name: General Two-Feather ( formerly) now he is just General
Age: 2?
Color: Birchen
Fun Fact: Brother of Stripe. He used to be called General Two- Feather when a dog got ahold of him and he lost most of his tail accept for two feathers! But they grew back, so now we just call him General.

Fun Fact: She's a golddigger, as in, she picks the dominant rooster!

Fun fact: He is such a gentle rooster...he babies his offspring, and his hens adore him....

and so does our daughter!

Seramas are a breed that is great with kids.
