To those who have Seramas and have hatched naturally.... At what point or age did you seperate momma and chicks? And has anyone left daddy in during setting and after hatch?
 
I can't stack wood, I alway make it fall down...
It has to be placed a certain way. I learned that the hard way after a bunch of logs rolled off and landed on my foot.

We don't have seramas, but we let the free range girl hatch, and they protect from the Roos, and the chicks just start going away from mom when their ready.

I usually leave them together, though you can separate at any age.

no you're not, I have them too:) that's why I asked those questions, I figured you would have them and an answer. I haven't yet, left daddy in after hatch but Alaska is sitting on 9 and I was thinking about leaving Jack with her and try it. I've heard they are good daddy's? How did yours act after hatch?

I meant with the people who were already on my chat thread.

The roosters don't help with me. My hen usually takes care of them and then the other hens do sometimes help.
