This was her at the beginning of treatment (still on Corid). She was pitiful. She’s eating, drinking, and pooping completely normal now. Has her energy back. But, now her tail is completely sideways. Could it be wry tail? Have you heard of it suddenly happening after an illness? She’s right at a year old.

Poor thing, she looks to be in pretty bad shape there.

Do you have photos of her now?

How many days of Corid is left?
After you finish the Corid, begin giving her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily, see if this helps.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Well, she looks better!

She's cute isn't she.

I'd start vitamins when you finish the Corid. See if she improves.

Does she keep the tail crooked all the time or just when walking...?
It was straight as could be before she got sick. She’s holding it like this the entire time and it’s worse (all the way to the side) when she’s resting.

Oh I am sorry for your loss. I had a rooster who developed wry tail suddenly around 6 months of age. Did she have any air under skin anywhere on her body? You might want to do a home necropsy on her body just to look for any signs of what caused her death. The video below shows the major organs and how to do a necropsy, although I do a much briefer one. It is understandable if you prefer not to do one.

She didn’t have any that I felt. I did notice that she had some yellowing of the skin so her liver was at play. She had not laid an egg since this started either so it definitely could have been egg yolk peritonitis. I hate that she passed :( she was one of my favorite girls. My husband may do the necropsy later today.
