1) What type of bird , age and weight
Serama Cockerel 5months of age, no change in weight in the last month
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
He cannot rise from a laying position. Walks fine after being placed upright. You must pick him up, straighten out his legs and set him down. When gently straightening his legs the muscles are tight.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
Intermittently and starting to be more frequent. The last few mornings he has needed help standing up. Sometimes during the day he can get up by himself.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.

Flock raiser crumbles, water, grit.

He lives in doors. Pine Shavings on the floor of his coop. Roost available but never used.
