A few months ago, I was looking at a poultry site and there was a locked thread that Seramas were not allowed to be discussed. I always wondered why.

Because Seramas are a VERY debated topic. There were users at that board that couldn't keep it friendly or even DECENT so they stopped ALL discussion of serama on there.

If you know anything about the history of Serama being imported to the U.S., you'll know that there is a certain individual who has been trying to take credit for being the only importer (there were at least two others), flaming those who dare to defy his "authority", and in general has put a bad taste about what a Serama should be in a lot of people's mouths. I won't go into all the details about the warring factions, but lets just say that there's him and followers, then everyone else. Get one of his idiot trolls started, and everything goes into a meltdown. I'm sure whatever board the thread was on, the moderator was well aware of the hostilities and decided to nip it in the bud.

Actually it didn't get nipped in the bud it went on for quite some time and got pretty emotional. Also it was thread after thread and despite warnings it kept ending up back in the same place. They finally banned Serama talk altogether.
