My 9 month old serama rooster is not feeling well. We live in Texas so he is currently in a rabbit hutch in the garage with a fan blowing indirect air on him. He lives with a hen that is showing no symptoms.
We take him our frequently to play with him. A few days ago he showed very little interest in his play time. That was the first sign of trouble. Yesterday he refused mealworms, which he has never been crazy about, but would usually not pass up on. For the last few days he seems to stay in a constant state of ruffled feathers and he is not perky like normal. (he is a frizzle). He also is no longer holding his tail upright like he always does. His crow is a bit off as well.
He seems to be eating and drinking but I have not seen him do either. I have never wormed him (I did not know I was suppose to worm a chicken that does not live on the ground).
He is my baby and has always been so full of personality not he just stands and stares out his cage. What should I do?
Thanks

You need to make sure that he's eating and drinking, watch him do it.
Give him fresh water, I would put some electrolytes in it if you can (They have "Sav-a-chick" at most feed stores). Watch him drink it. If he won't drink, try dipping his beak in it to start him off. Give him foods he usually loves if that's all he'll eat. Yogurt and scrambled eggs tend to be chicken favorites while they're ill. Lethargy is a symptom for a ton of illnesses unfortunately, but until we figure out what it is you need to make certain he's getting hydrated and has food in him.
Has he pooped while you've had him separated? What do his poops look like? Are his eyes or nostrils watery or bubbly? Does his crop feel normal?

I have separated him and given him fresh food and water with save a chick. He is putting his beak down in the food like he wants to eat but does not actually pick up any food. He is also quivering a lot and seems to sit very still with his tail down. He is showing no interest in the water but I just put him in this new cage a few minutes ago.

Thanks
