Hello everyone!
I am at a total loss with the issue we are currently experiencing with our rooster. About a week ago Red, our 3 year old Mille Fleur bantam rooster, seemed be be sitting more than normal. Now it has been hot, humidity pushing the heat index passed 95, so I figured it was to conservative energy. I had a waterer with electrolytes and a few without in the yard. He was eating and drinking normally. Then one day he was stumbling around, flapping his wings to stay upright, and then falling forward when he sat down, using his beak to push himself back up just to fall forward again. At this point we brought him in to quarantine him.
He did have mites, so we treated him for that. We have been giving him vitamin E, a B complex, and a little bit of nutridrench in his water.
I checked his feet, no bumblefoot, his toes curl around my finger when I bring his legs up, but when I pinch the pad if his feet and toes there is no reaction. He is still alert, crowing, talking, eating, drinking, and pooping just fine. Everything is normal except he can't walk and seems to tip over when sitting. We are stumped so I thought I would reach out for some feedback or ideas on what could be going on. He is one of 2 left from our OG chickens, so he has a special place in our hearts! I should mention that all the rest of our 35 chickens are fine, no one is sick or acting off.
I appreciate any insights anyone may have!

Sounds like you are giving good supportive care.

His actions remind me of birds with Marek's, so that's a possibility.

I'd continue wot give the B-Complex and Vitamin E. See that he's eating well.

He's a beauty, I hope he's able to recover.
