If I'm correct both's average lifespan is seven years. But I'm not sure on size.

Plus I live in the suburbs so if there is a a better breed for me please inform me.

    Thank you,

I've heard of some Seramas even living to 9 years. :D As for size, there are 4 sizes: micro, class A, class B, and class C. Here are the weights:

    Micro up to 13 ounces
    Class A under 13 ounces
    Class B under 16 ounces
    Class C under 19 ounces

    Micro up to 8 ounces
    Class A under 12 ounces
    Class B under 15 ounces
    Class C under 19 ounces

Sometimes there will be Seramas that weigh more than class C's. They are considered class D and are culls (but any size would make a great pet!)
