Hi, I've just erected an 8x6 wooden garden shed that needed some repairs etc..
I'm hoping to use it to house my daughter's Serama pairs and trios. Has anyone ideas of how I could lay it out to keep them separate etc.. grid style setup etc

Yes, how many groups? How many total chickens? Also, where are you (interest is climate). Will there be any runs associated with the coop space? Is this to separate them during the winter only so no hatching of eggs?

Basically, what are you trying to accomplish and what are you working with? I see by your title "winter housing" but what is going on? The more we know the more likely we can help.

Serama’s are tiny chickens and not cold harded. They probably stop laying during winter.
Easiest is to make 2 compartments in winter. One for the ladies and one for the roosters.

How tiny are these Seramas? Of hoe much cold can they endure?
How cold does it get where you live.?
Do you want to install heating? What are your/your daughter’s plans?
Did she make duos / trios for breeding purposes?
