I got a mystery egg with an auction or trade (I can't remember which.) (And I can't remember who I got it from.) This egg looked different from all the others. Now the egg in question was tiny and long and skinny. It hatched out a regular looking (no feathered legs or crest or extra toes, or puffy cheeks or beard) but very small chick. He/she is only 1/2 to 3/4 the size of the Silkie! The egg was tinted. The chick is yellow with yellow beak and legs... very small, but healthy and lively.

I'm thinking Serama, because aren't they the smallest chickens?
What do ya'll think?

seramas are the smallest breed of bantams, but you can also get chicks hatched out that are just abnormal...you wont really know much until the chick gets some age to it and can tell the type...and not all seramas are small, I have seen some BIG seramas...
