Does anyone have any experience with the rooster surrender program through serenity sprouts? They seem to be a good option to rehome my cockerel but I can’t find many reviews. Thanks

Do NOT buy chicks from this place. They do not vaccinate for Marek's disease yet take roosters from the general public and do not seem to have good enough quarantine procedures in place. I lost 5 of 6 chicks from two different groups to Marek's, and I'm sure I'll lose the last one eventually. In the two Facebook groups I'm part of, multiple people reached out to me after seeing one of my posts about the disease and told me that they had chickens dying of the same symptoms as mine. All were from Serenity Sprouts. I tried texting with the people from SS, and they gave me a lot of reasons for them to not vaccinate and stopped responding when I told them more chickens were dying. Also, when I took one of mine to CSU for a necropsy, the diagnostics lab mentioned that several chickens had been brought in from SS - all had Marek's.Does anyone have any experience with the rooster surrender program through serenity sprouts? Can confirm this. Had the exact same experience with SS. Started with 8 beautiful babies from them 10 months ago. Down to 3 now and one of them is getting ready to die probably tomorrow. All of them died differently. We took the first one to CSU and they said Mareks. Don’t buy chicks from this place, and NEVER buy unvaccinated chicks ever.Do NOT buy chicks from this place.
